what are these non-critical updates every day on launcher?

nearly everyday for the past week on my launcher it says "applying non critical updates" when i start it up. whats up with that?

I see everyday since 4.0 hit the street.
Dunno.
I would assume it is conitualy monitoring of the servers, or minor patch info that helps make patch day easier.

Little mini-patches. You might have noticed that just the other day, our dungeon quest achievements suddenly started working.

Lots and lots of bugs slipped through so Blizzard could make their release date. Nothing game breaking, mind, but minor annoyances.
These updates fix those issues.
