This is starting to be a bad habit. Happened to one of my toons going through Mount Hyjal, missed a quest, but managed to snag it and continue on.
Now, my paladin ran out of quests in Deepholm ... completed ... I think 101 ... he is 84.5 now and has already moved on to two other zones, but I end up back in Deepholm now and then and just can't figure out what's missing. I have flown round and round on mining runs. Even did the instance quest for big fat mother earth stone lady. But just can't find anything or anyone.
The only drop item that starts a quest, I have done.

Doesn't sound like it should apply, but turn on "low level quest" tracking...
Also, perhaps you got a quest in that area, that has to be finished in another...
In Deepholm, "Go talk to xyz in abc"...
You are looking for the quest in XYZ, but need to be in ABC...

If it was anything other than Cata quests I'd tell you to install Everyquest, since that helped me immensely on some quests I was missing. Unfortunately Everyquest hasn't to my knowledge been updated to include Cata stuff.

Yeah, I tried Everyquest after running into the problem in Mount Hyjal, but it just sort of looks at you and says, "WTF? Where is this Deepholm place you are in?"

It puts yellow !s every where there is a quest giver, from an npc or item, on the zone map.
No more missing quests...
