anyone get these? there is no lag leading up to it, and it is not my internet going out since i can reconnect to the game immediately and my other applications are not affected.


happens to me very often when im on a killing spree in world pvp. i always jokingly thought it was a gm doing something to test if i am cheating or something since i have heard that people "appeal" me on my server for "ganking". but that seems a little farfetched.


anyone else get these?

The only time I experience this is when I window out while flying to the next point. Look at the boards, YouTube, whatever. When I land, I'll instantly disconnect without fail.

When I switch between realms is when I have problems. I have more random crash problems with my nvidia card. Maybe once or twice a month will it just disconnect.

Do you use any addons that track things like: HKs, honor points, names of players, etc.?

This sounds suspiciously like that sort of thing.

I'd look there first - update any that are out of date and get rid of any that don't have recent updates available.

If you are using no mods, then I have no idea. Perhaps it's time for you to lower your graphic settings..? (wild guess there)

I was having problems with random/abrupt disconnects too. The solution for me was to put WoW into Windowed (Full Screen) mode. Worked wonders for me and my wife; we have not had a single random/abrupt disconnect since.

i get the flight landing disconnect while alt tabbed as well. i wonder if they are related.


the only addons i use are some of the ctmod ones, none of which track anything that i know of. my pc is also way too beefy for WoW...i run everything at max with no noticable slowdowns. i will try the windowed mode thing.
