Can't mine pyrite :(

Having a trouble getting the ore out of pyrite nodes. I can mine the deposit but no ore window pops. Seems to happen with my other character who is a miner, both capped at 525, zone is Twilight Highlands. I have 0 addons running also, anyone else having trouble with this? Also this only occurs with pyrite. I can mine everything else just fine.

Doesn't it appear for everyone in all phases?

this is probably what is happening, if you're in a different phase you will see the node and be able to mine it and get experience, but no window will pop up for you to get the ore.

I'm able to get experience. I thought when something was phased it meant that everyone could get it, but it might disappear with it showing no one there. Was that changed?
In any case, one time I was there, mined the deposit and got the exp, flew off but saw someone else come and the deposit disappeared after they mined it, I asked if they got ore from it and they said yes.

Phased = Do every quest in the game or you will enjoy a fragmented world.

Yeah I like how they make you do like 4 quests in twilight highlands in order to gain access to the crafting vendors.

You are getting to the node and mining it then it phases out. Happens a lot in Twilight Highland and there is one section in Uldum that does it as well :\
