What's the deal with the Prisms Deck?

I had some old prisms card laying around, so decided to toss them on the AH to see if they fetch a few gold pieces each. Turns out they sell for sick amounts. They sold out in under a day for ~1000G each (back in wotlk I was lucky to sell a whole deck for a 2-300 gold).
Was it secretly buffed? The crappy +85 Int trinket surely (don't call me Shirley) can't be worth that much ...
