Whenever doing 80+ instances and greens drop I never really looked at them. Today at the AH with my 78 Warrior I noticed some greens that were ridiculous stat wise. At the time I didn't realize these were 80+ instance green drops which you can use at level 77 lol. Quick example I'm using this:

and this is my heirloom for comparison:

HUGE difference lol.
So if any of you are leveling alts check the AH as soon as you hit 77 >_<

Yeah, they did this same kind of thing in WOTLK and BC.. kinda nice for your alts to get "mega" geared for their last couple of levels. (especially with the stat jump in THIS xpac)

Maybe I just didn't level any alts during LK but I don't remember such a huge jump in gear pre-70. Nothing even remotely close to the jump you get at 77,78, and 79 right now. Even in instances I'm normally 2k dps above everyone else including the tank.

There was the pre 60 jump for BC and the pre 70 jump for WOTLK.. but nothing near the pre 80 jump..
Looking at the gear from 77-80, it really seems like they could have put in a few more levels in the xpac to let us gradually work up instead of trampolining from John Q Citizen to supehuman.
They prob didnt have the money to develop the content that could have been 80-83.
