I get bids on Lichbloom and most of the other Northrend herbs within a few hours after AH-ing them, but I can't seem to give Icethorn away. Should I stop wasting the AH fee and just vendor the stuff?

market it low for people trying to raise their inscription. more money than youd get by vendoring, but not as much as youd get by gouging.

Haven't tried to sell any since Cataclysm, although I have sold a few glyphs made with Northrend ink for 100-200 each.
