The article failed to mention that the donation was actually $75k worth of runecloth.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they donated SOMETHING, but only $75k? Seriously? From a company that rakes in untold millions every MONTH, and that's it? And it took them 4 months to shell out the cash? And you know the only reason they did it was for PR buzz. Plus the money wasn't even theirs, it's money they raised from donations. Of course they made the statement to make themselves look good, but to me they just look petty.

At the very least they should have matched donations raised if they wanted to actually make a difference and actually EARN some respect from this announcement.

I can agree with this. While a donation does garner a nod, putting it out there garners the true respect.
