Bought Cata, hit 82 canceled. Got my 7 day solicit today. Wish they would focus on Diablo III. MMORPGs are just too much a time sink these days.

pretty much the same thing DAoC does if your account is unsubed for more then 90 days you get 10 free days to try the game again. Not something most game companies do unless there is a problem somewhere.

I don't think it's a sign I used to have 4 accounts and I had 2 of them closed for the past year and a half or so and they would always get a free 7 days here and there.

I don't see the 7-days as an act of desperation. One could argue the recruit a friend and trials are also the same. Quite frankly, if we want to make it negative, it is more greed than anything else.
