2.Get paired with other random players

4.The more you win the higher your rating.


No waiting for friends, just random arena fun

I can't support that idea since it promotes arenas. For me, arenas must be removed from the game, or at least their rewards seriously nerfed so they become a fun side game and not the main PvP activity.

So bad rating from me, unless you first nerf arena rewards so they are not the best PvP gear anymore. Then yes, why not.

I agree. Arenas should be an alternative to Battlegrounds, not better than or more rewarding than.

Better idea:

Standard class sets of gear for those who want to do arenas. When you go into arena your gear is replaced with a full arena set. When you leave.. you get your own gear back. Arena rewards, if gear, may not be used anywhere except arenas. mounts pets etc.. who cares. Wherever.


That way when some class is OP in arenas but not necessarily OP in PvE they can tweak the gear and not the class.

You're assuming you could even win with a scrub random player in PVE gear with no resilience. Now if you were to add another rule, that you can't queue for random arenas as a group, then OK, I could see it working. But otherwise... forget it.

Better idea: remove all material rewards from PvP.
