Anyone ever try to xfer their lv 25 guild mount to a toon on the other side (alliance/horde)?
Just wondering.

It's probably just like every other racial mounts...they are changed to the new faction's equal mount. If you have the lion, it will most likely be a scorpion after transfer

Agreed.
I haven't done it, but Blizzard usually has it well worked out. It will be the equivalent mount from the opposing faction.

this is the guild mount, when you transfer to another server or realm unless the guild you join is also L25 and you are exalted with that guild you wont be able to use it.

Though somewhere I read that Blizz was thinking about implementing changes so that personal guild reward wouldn't be nuked if you left the guild...
Seems like this should be one of them.

That's not true at all. In fact you can buy the mount and mail it off to an alt that isn't in a level 25 guild and still use it.

That's not true at all. In fact you can buy the mount and mail it off to an alt that isn't in a level 25 guild and still use it.
This is what I understand also.
