Changes to Authenticator?
I just read on the login screen that they "upgraded" the Authenticator system and that it now "intelligently" tracks your login location, and if you normally log in from that location it may not ask you for an authenticator.
Thoughts on this?

No.
I'm sure there are some players in a dorm room with an a-hole roommate somewhere that ALWAYS want to use the authenticator.
Kind of pointless to have an authenticator that doesn't authenticate.
