Is there any Blizzard official policy on the removal of absent Guild masters.

I have seen posts about the 30 day absent can petition for a change but cannot find any official post about it.


So is there a policy or not ?

Our guildmaster is missing and we can not function without one! What do we do?


If a guildmaster suddenly quits or stops playing, the guild can be left without access to much of the guild functionality and no way to replace him. If this happens, please wait 30 days to give the guildmaster time to return. If he does not, please petition the Game Master staff for help promoting a replacement.

Yah, if 30 days go by, an officer can ask the gm to promote another officer to GM.


I gave my brother GM of our mule/alt guild...because I quit playing for awhile. I came back some months later, and he had quit playing also. He hadn't logged in for like 2 months..


I sent the request, and the matter was taken care of in like 10 minutes. Not saying yours will be resolved that quickly, but they will help you with this.
