They didn't say but yeah, I'd expect it late next year. They want to push 4.3 before the end of this year then you have at least 3 months to let players get through that. Then usually a patch that starts to turn the story towards the next expac (like Ruby Sanctum), and then beta begins and at least 5-6 months of that.

I would imagine it would be out sooner than that, considering the amount of competition coming out in the near future and the overall dropoff in subscriptions that occured with this xpac.
Then again, Blizzard and smart business decisions have not exactly been going hand in hand here lately . .

I thought this next patch was the last big content patch. They really going to let WoW run 12 months without new tiers?

Pretty hard to believe they would go another year until the expac. Between new competition and plain old boredom, that's bad strategy.

They did with WotLK. 3.3 was in December and technically Ruby Sanctum wasn't a 'big content' patch. It was just a small raid to keep people busy until Cata in Dec. Sure we had the 4.0 patch in October so it wouldn't surprise me if they followed that pattern again.
I WISH they would get it out sooner but I honestly doubt it.

Yea they said they were WELL into development of it and had almost something from every zone to show my guess is the 2nd Quarter they aren't gonna go a year with SWG and GW2 both coming out they aren't that stupid...Well maybe they are.
