So last night I obtained the sea turtle mount. Only took me over 10,000 casts once I maxed fishing or some astronomical amount of time that made me want to tear my hair out.

My question is. What mounts are there that I can just grind rep for? Is there any site for just mount information so I can see what needs to be done for them?

If you armory your character you'll notice that there's a mounts and pets tab that will show you all the mounts that you have and all those you don't. You can filter the mounts that you don't have to only display the faction rep mounts if you'd like.

well without knowing what you have.. the answer is


1. vanilla - all your alliance/horde reps (worgen once the patch comes out), also winterpsring saber or the raptor from th

2. BC - if you max skettis rep there are a few nether ray mounts. There's also the rep for Nagrand which will allow you to buy the talbuk mounts. There's also the nether drake mount you can grind rep for. theres a hippogryph for the BC cenarian rep.

3. cata - firelands dailies in hyjal gets you a flameward hippogryph once you hit exalted

that's about all the rep ones i can think of. there's a lot more mounts that are say, all the honor ones from pvp and a lot now from achievements (like doing all the LK/Cata dungeon aciheves, the LK, ulduar, cata raids, FL raids achieves. there's also quite a few rare drop ones from some dungeons.


edit: also i have also been using the armory for both mounts and pets. it's a great tool to look up what you're missing. good idea to have posted that.

Also in Nagrand if you know someone with a toon about the same or same level as yours on the opposing faction you can meet at the PVP area there and trade kills for tokens to get the War Talbuk however from what I understand doing it is considered exploiting so don't get caught.
