I took my resto shaman into the new five-mans last night. Picked up the quests, and managed to survive fairly well in the PUG situation.

However, for all the effort Blizzard puts into a patch or balancing, or whatever else is their pleasure of the day. Couldn't they somehow come up with a system that offers a greater variety of possible useful rewards for the quests? Not asking for top-of-the-line uber leet gear. But ... would it kill them to offer a couple of mail options and a couple of plate options? At least my shaman is an enchanter.

I ran the dungeons (fully) twice between patch day and the next day and pulled almost all 378 gear from the bosses. It took me about an hour and a half of my time to go from 325/333 gear to this...

The final boss and Jaina (sp) drop shoulders and a shield (respectively), so once I get those, Ill have an almost full set of gear just from the boss drops and the quest rewards (I think 3 items I have are quest rewards). You can easily get the same gear with a bit of time and a few runs. Ive noticed each class pretty much can get a full set of 378 gear from a combination of boss drops.

Yeah the drop system is outdated. Tokens that you can trade for your class gear is the way to go.

I honestly find this hilarious considering how many people on these boards think that SW:TOR is a joke, and yet it does not only this, but drops as well. It still gives people a reason to run random dungeons, for the tokens, while also giving them the incentive of acquiring gear from said dungeons.

Post count just means you spend too much time reading and not enough playing.

for me as a rogue all the quest rewards from the new dungeons are useless except for a ring. but it seems to be balanced overall in that if you combine quest rewards+dungeon drops there is lvl 378 gear for just about every slot

It isn't outdated, they do this purposefully to make you run the dungeon 80 times. This the reason the GOOD gear that people will want drops 5 times less than the trinket that is terrible and no one will use. SO yea, not outdated, purposeful to milk you for all the time they can.

So umm, what do you call the valor and justice points that one gets from completing the bosses/dungeon?
