Not sure if many know me as Mobie from WE server. Figured I would post this same post here and on WE .
I got to wondering about if AC will run on a computer that is running Vista or one that is running Win 7?
If so did anything special have to be done to get it to run if you are running either of those OS's?
I'm guessing that add-ons are still around. Any recommendations of which to get? Thank you in advance for any info.

Yes it can be run on both. I recommend installing to C:/Games. Do not install to programfiles(x86). Also, try a trial version first incase something goes wrong and you cant get it to work. Some people have router issues.

I never ran it on Vista but did run it on 7 and worked fine. Just ran it as administrator.

hey mobie, i have win7 and it runs fine. every once in a while i can't load the 2nd blue vial, but i have not pinpointed what causes that yet.

Thanks for the info people. You still play Bruce?? lol. I didn't even think about trying the trail before i subscribed.Buddy of mine was telling me that Win 7 and Vista couldnt run it and I was like, your tellign me of all the people that play AC none have gotten win 7 or vista yet?? So that is when I decided to post here and see what i got an an answer. Well thanks again for the info people and I may be in game tonight or tomorrow or not at all lol. It all depends on mr. laptop
Edit: What about those add-ons or whatever they were called. All I remember is decal and I don't think that was an add-on just something that you used to control all the actual add-ons.

Well I got in game with no problems. Now to figure out where everyone is. Any hints or clues??

The last I played (about 5 months ago) there aren't as many people left as there once was. Usually more people are the peak hours. Even late at night though I would say there are still a decent amount of people, at least my group of friends that I played with there was.

Most people play later at night I find, around 8pm EST until about 2am EST, occasionally some people are on during the daytime, my days off are always different so Im on at all different times on different days.
