Assistance With graphics card choice?

I am completely ignorant about what specs to look for in graphics cards I am not looking for anything expensive just the best card I can get for $50-$100, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look for GeForce 260 GTX - great buy for the price. If you can spend more, the 465 GTX is the next most awesome for the price. EVGA is the best brand but usually costs a bit more. Gigabyte and Asus are the runners up.
