Looking to get any input on what people think would be reasonable to help new players or /40s in terms of gear to help leveling. Please don't suggest things like 'stat capped for 40 armor set'. We need creativity.

Farm Aurulite and let them use that gear. It's good enough to have some stats and offer some visual appeal, while not taking so much time or effort to be a waste when they are likely to level out of it fairly soon anyway. Maybe throw in a crafted weapon as a cherry on top. I'm not sure why I'm posting this, since I don't play anymore and my hope for Mordred has died...I guess it's because even without hope, I can still WISH that the server wasn't dead. Good luck with it, either way.

Who cares? Give it up...

BioWare does not care about DAoC nor does EA.

Having a guild or organized group of people to play with and ask questions would be of most benefit other than gear to start off with. Plus after 50 it would be nice to have help getting items and PvEing.

You can buy that capped BG/bp gear at the border keeps for cheap.

The gear isn't great, but it caps resists and stats and skills.

I have no idea on the over caps and hits.

He will be back one of these days during his free 14 days I'm sure. He got me started on the game back in 02 or 03 when he would stop in my store to buy snacks on the way to school. He might be on another game currently, but he will return again for sure to check it out once in awhile.
