Edit: When I try to upload it, it just refreshes the page and I have no way to choose to wear the icon.....I am probably doing something wrong I guess..

Go to manage mega icon. Put in a name, browse your hard drive for where you saved the icon and then just upload. Shouldn't have to select it.

Exactly what I am doing. But when i do it it takes me back to manage mega icon and under Current MegIcon it reads (not selected).
Edit: lol problem solved. me in my infinite wisdom did not realize that the picture I had saved was a 0kb file =P
