basically would like to make these icon-worthy...resized to look normal and backgrounds to be edited away so only sprites remain

I managed to do something like this:



it's ok, but the upload option in VN wants to stretch the image to 80 x 80 pixels

so when i go to upload it, it stretches the face out and makes it look ugly

any idea how i can avoid the stretch affect forced upon us by VN?
