So, I decided to get Photoshop.

Yay me! I've been messing around with it a bit, not very good with it yet. Anyone know an easy tutorial on making icons. Perhaps list some basic steps to making an icon?

I got both Gimp and Photoshop, I prefer Gimp for most stuff, just a couple of features are better in Photoshop, but not much lol

Now I've got GIMP.
A problem I keep having is my images turn to crap when I try and resize them to 120x120 (after cropping out the image I want of course, THEN resizing), how do I fix that?

Use Photoshop, don't resize them too much and if necessary, be prepared to enhance details either with filters or by hand.
|
