Just wondering? Also what would I use in my rotation? basically just claw spam?

Also what do I need in my temp to make him a farming machine? If someone could hook me up with a great temp that would be sweet as well

Vamps are best at chaining yellow and orange cons, obviously better gear makes it faster but it's not really required because the mobs aren't that hard in the first place.

You are correct to assume claw spam works, though I can't recommend any particular spec as I long since gave up on Vamp-dom. Mobs that resist the claws too often (aka purples) are the bane of the farming vamp. Red cons can be beaten consistently, but it's more work than killing two orange/yellow cons. So if you are farming the only thing that really matters on Gaheris, you are probably better sticking to the lower con mobs and chaining them like mad.

there are too many specs to list
pierce: 34 or 44
sm: 14 or 26 or 36 or 49
ve: 33 or 41 or 48
dem: the rest if any

start with ws-buff and haste, then a defensive buff if you need it, then clawspam

vamps are strong you can take some lvl62~ purples with ease it just takes longer
a dagger with an omni proc on it works wonders and most df mobs are weak to spirit damage

This pretty much covers your spec needs. I favor a heavy SM with the rest in pierce myself, but there's a pretty good hybrid pierce/SM/VE spec i hear tell as well. Comes down to your personal preference. All the options are covered above though and respec stones are plentiful so just keep experimenting till you find your favorite spec.

Not sure if there's an ML10 hib leather chest with bonuses to casting and melee, but that is a good choice if there is. If not, the dragonslayer chest is a great choice and very easy to attain. VSS is my favorite melee choice, but these new Pictish drops also have some neat choices for weapons. Both the dagger and rapier are nice. If you can sweet talk someone into giving you a hib halloween leather hat, do so. It really helps in your template. I haven't looked at my vamps temp in awhile, I know I included the alb dragon drop small shield after he was CL3 though.
