You might want to look into dropping Spell Range to 9%. There is a bug, that at 10%, can cause tic up spells to function improperly and not ramp correctly. To my knowledge they have not fixed it yet, though I have not tested it in a while.

Sauvi and I tested it out with range at 10% and 9%. Both showed identical progressive ramping.

I also reworked the template with EOY instead of the darkened vine gem. You lose one point of a melee resist (you can adjust in your crafting) and ten hit points over the other template but gain egg rez and rez sick cure which is much better utility wise. More importantly it makes for an easy to put together template with nice resists, stats and toa caps.
