So I'm having a prob with the patcher (base/unpacked.mft file is corrupted). So I read up on it and it seemed to be related to routers and firewalls. Don't use a router, camelot is in the trusted listed on my firewall.

Some say delete the file. I can't find it...

I try the test server.. kapow! I'm patching with no probs. Hmmmm

So I call tech support. He asks "What's the problem?"

I get out "I play daoc and am having an issue with base/unpacked.mft, but I can use the test patcher fine..."


Support hangs up on me...


Really?!?!

Call support back and ask for an immediate escalation.

You should get a supervisor at that point, tell him you got hung up on, what your issue is, and what time it was when you first called. Call center calls are monitored so they can look up the guy who hung up on you and lay the smack down on him

I just removed the game for now. I'll get to dealing with CS when things aren't so hectic in rl.
