I'm not going to comment on specific components because I don't want to do your research for you.

But 2 general comments:
* Just get an i7 920, save yourself $800. Buying a brand new processor when it JUST comes out is retarded. You're flushing money down the toilet. Wait 3-5 months and the price will come down.

i7 920 = 4 cores @ 2.66 ghz, $200 (MicroCenter)
i7 975 = 6 cores @ 3.3 ghz, $970 (NewEgg)

Buy the first one, spend $50 on a nice cooler, overclock it, see similar results in processing power.

* All this money on a ridiculous PC and no SSD? Very, very sad.

oh right, that 975 is only 4 cores. I was reading about the 975 6 core the other day.

Even more of a waste to spend the cash on it!
