I had a Mythic account with my DAoC and Warhammer account linked (or whatever it is called) and I was interested in playing the free to play Warhammer and maybe even the free week or so of DAoC.

So, I had to make an EA account, but I couldn't get my Mythic account linked with it. I called customer service and according to them my account got deleted. They said something like after two years of no activity the account gets deleted.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? The thing I don't understand is that I could link my buffbot account which wasn't touched since ~2005, but my main account I played when Warhammer came out.

I wasn't really planning on playing DAoC, but I am still bummed all my characters are gone.

Not that anyone would remember me, but I had a cleric named Ratsalad on Gawaine.

I thought Mythic like most MMOs keeps character accounts pretty much forever. Maybe you got a dumb customer service rep? Try calling again.

I resubbed for 15 days free last year after not having played since 2003, so it looks like you talked to an idiot.

The first person I talked to said that they could not find my account. The second one said it was probably deleted.

I will try again and see what happens.

The strange thing is I can log into my Mythic account, but when i try to link it to my EA/Bioware account it fails at the last step without giving a reason.

Who fkn knows tbh. I have been on auto bill since way before Warhammer and recently got an account cancellation notice as card was rejected. 1 week letter they emailed me to say it was in error and my account was active... So obviously they have no friggin clue what they are doing.

Point is, try again (maybe ask to escalate your request and or email). And good luck!
