Nate Burleson and not Julius Peppers; is this just a desperate attempt at winning now or do you guys think that the Bears might actually be a legit team next season?

Urlacher isnt getting any younger so if they are going to make a push they realistically only have a few years left on that. Da Bears might have the best D next year, o paper they are unbelievable now. But their whole season will hinge on Cutler and his ability to spread the ball and put drives together and I am not sure I would want to rely on that.

Thats a good point, the best defense in the world can not help you when you Quarterback is having a 4 interception game.

cant believe they havent tried to go after a receiver....i mean c'mon, their pass attack just plain sucks..they dont have a receiver, you could blame Cutler but it might be because he has terribad receivers that just cant get open or run a proper route.


Boldin/Marshall...figured one of them would be a Bear.

I'll take our receivers over anything we could afford from another team, we had too many other holes to fill. Take a look at the last four games: Knox and Aromashadu were both stepping up big time. As long as they don't keep pushing Hester as the #1 receiver we should be fine. Now all we have to do is get Cutler and the receivers on the same page.
