To set this up, the QB is telling the ref that he didn't spot the ball properly after the previous play which resulted in a penalty on the defense. Watch the video in what happens next:

Hmm, cant help but think there had to be a number of violations on that play, but props to the team and the coach, very inventive play.

I say brilliant play, it follows all the rules but has an unorthodox form of the Center to QB exchange. Think of it as a new version of the old Nebraska " Fumblerooski"

I sow that on Sportsnation a couple of days ago. That was a brilliant offensive play, when I sow that I was laughing. The reaction from the defense was priceless.
