Moment of silence planned for the entire third lap of the Daytona 500 next Sunday. This is going to be a very touching moment for racing fans every where. Honestly I used to hate Earnhardt back in the 90's. I remember the day of his death very vividly. I still feel guilty for cheering when he crashed, even though I never would have suspected he would die from the crash. I remember just blankly staring at the floor when I heard he had died. Nascar never has been the same without you Earnhardt, and while I never wanted to see you win, it was always nice seeing you on the track racing with everyone. It's hard to believe that it has been ten years now, RIP Earnhardt, you are truely missed by every racing fan.
