I moved on the ninth and did not get internet hooked up until today, so that is why I have been MIA for a while. As far as the first preseason game goes, it did not bother me one bit. Almost every players that touched that field past the first quarter will not touch the field once during the regular season. The starters looked decent, and we were without our three best offensive players in MJD, Garrard, and Lewis. I remember the Patriots getting blasted and losing all four preseason games back in 04 when they went on to win the superbowl. The Colts have had similar results in the preseason and have always gone on to dominate the regular season. You can not judge a team by scores in the preseason. I did not watch the game, but from what I have heard, the starters did a good job considering they only had two weeks of practice after four months off. This is not even close to the time to panic yet.

Lets also not forget that getting blasted by the Patriots even in a regular season game is not the end of the world, many would argue that they are the hands down favorite to win the superbowl. On the panic meter I am still sitting at a solid zero.

As a Bears fan you should be full of panic for this season. They will be lucky to get six wins.
