This could really be a huge, great change for the organization...thankfully we might be going defensive minded. Although, I dont see Manning in a Colt's jersey next year...his feelings were finally shown about how everything is playing out. I hope Irsay handles this situation the right way...he is the Colt's and built Lucas Oil...and in turn deserves the respect that he has earned.

Another big point is his health...still in doubt, if he was completely healthy then I think the team would be shouting it as loud as they could...but their silence could be a sad story about to unfold.

Pretty clear to me if they let Manning walk or he is unhealthy that the team has a lot of rebuilding to do. And they could also lose some of those key players on the team that are free agents. I'm not a huge fan of hiring a defensive coordinator as a head coach when building around a #1 pick QB. I think you need an offensive mind. I've seen too many defensive coaches limit offensive talent like with Sanchez, Ryan, Flacco, etc.

I can agree with that devastator. I think if Manning was healthy we would have heard about it. Not sure what the reasoning would be or benefit to keep it hush.

I'm happy for the most part with the coaching selection. I would have liked to seen one out of the broadcast booth or from the greens in golf, but for the most part it will be interesting to see who the OC will be. /crosses fingers.

I hear the Mora quote more now than ever "Playoffs, you kidding me!" I think its going to be awhile. Going to have to get ready for the verbal kicks that are going to come.
