That old house has alot of character.
But for me (And this is just a matter of taste), I think you were heavy handed with the dodge and burn.
The light seems to light, and the dark seems abit dark.
But I also have to take into effect that everyone has every monitor set different, so it might not look like that on yours.
I always try to remember that when I critique a photo, because it may look just fine on the artists monitor, and therefore be correct when printed.

The problem is that it was late at night on a rainy day, so the light is very plain and unexiting
