My First Photography Awards |
I joined the local photography club back in January. Last month, we turned in photos for the spring print competition (they have a digital image competition in the fall). Tonight we got the results of the judging. There were 110 photos submitted in 5 categories.
I took first place in the "People" category with:

And I took first place in the "Animals" category (and Best of Show) with:

I got 2nd place in overall points because the judges didn't like my other submissions as much.

- and a portrait I did of 4 sisters. If I had known one of the judges was a professional portrait photographer, I wouldn't have entered an amateur portrait shot.
Anyways sorry for the bragging post, but I'm just pretty happy right now.
