What do you see in this picture.


What is your first thought when looking at it?


What do you like/dislike about the angle/color/lighting/subject/etc.?

It makes me think of the old Brothers Grimm fables.

The only thing I don't like is the dog. The leash kind of detracts from the fantasy vibe of the picture. Also the dog being slightly covered by the girl makes the fight for attention in my head. If the dog was just a bit to the right, it seems like the look back would help draw attention to the girl.

Love the lighting/color though. The girl stands-out but not glaringly so and the background has an interesting interplay between darker and lighter areas...

I honestly don't know what to say. Techincally the picture is near perfect. as for the contents.. I well I don't like it very much. I don't think it gives me much, and the facial expression of the girl just doesn't seem to fit in the context for me..

It's odd, she looks cold but the sun is shining, so it feels very contradictory to me (edit: just noticed the snow, cold it is ). Aside from that, the dog's lead really needs editing out I love the tones and the location is just inspiring.

Ok, good. I was not the only one that thought the dog was too prominent and detracting for the little girls "cold in a cabin" shot.


Still really like the picture though.
