Just messing around recently and figured I'd ask here for opinions.

I've been experimenting with light a little bit and I'd really like to know if I'm on the right track.

Thanks much!

And I'd figure I'd throw this up there too and see what people think.

I like the first 2 a lot!

The focus on the orange seems to be a little too much to the front. I think I'd like it better if the center where the segments meet is in perfect focus.

I like the first one.

The second one is good, but just not my cup of tea photographically.

Like the idea of the third one, but echo the above comments on focus.

Thanks! Feedback is much appreciated.

yeah, the one of the orange was more of an after thought but turned out better than I thought it would so I kept it.

I like them, though as said, the focus is off on the orange.

What I don't like about the leaf one, is that you've used a standard mirror (or a sheet of glass?) making a double reflection. It makes the edges on the reflection seem out of focus. This is because a standard mirror reflects from the bottom, and since its made of glass, there's a reflection on the top as well.

The solution is to use a polished tile of some sort instead

Yep, single sheet of glass with nothing underneath. And I definitely was hoping for a better reflection.

Gonna try your way and see how it goes.

Thanks Raiztlin!

The photo you were looking for has been deleted.

You might like to ask Mark.H. about it!
