Best way to trade or sell a lens?
Looking at switching out Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L for a 17-55mm f/2.8 IS. Also looking to upgrade my Canon XSi to something like a 50D. The ideal would be to trade the XSi + kit lens and 24-70mm 2.8L for a 50D and 17-55mm 2.8 IS. Not sure how feasible that is. Any suggestions? Or is my best bet to sell the camera and lenses on craigslist and then just buy what I want?

It's a really nice lens but I realized that a slightly smaller lens, IS, and $400 toward upgrading my camera body would have been a better route to go...

My guess would definitely be EBay or Craigslist. Unless you know of any local places that may take it.

Fredmiranda.com has the best buy/sell forums for photo stuff, you can get some deals on craigslist and ebay but there are a lot of scams and a ton of junk floating around out there.
