Was asked today to do some male portraits of a couple of brothers looking for images. Ones a body builder and ones a hip-hop artist / clothing designer. Interesting day, and my first day out with my 5dmkII in probably a month. Captured some really neat images of them and their attitude. Two flashes off camera were used for most of it. Heres a few sample images. These guys had enough attitude for ten men!

Going to try uploading onto imageshack, as my website doesn't actually have URL uploading abilities. Hopefully this doesnt do to much wierd compression to them like facebook does, but who knows!

Thanks! I was always absolute rubbish at B&W until I started working for a local newspaper as a staff photographer. One of their long term - 30 year plus - veteran photographers (who also happens to be a car nut) took me under his wing and taught me how to not be terrible at BW. Soooooo thankful.

You're right. And it's a shame really, guys tend to bring a whole diffrent energy to e photo then a girl does. (not better or worse, just different)

I'll post a few older ones I've done as well:

A guy I work with:

Myself:

A friend and her boyfriend:

I haven't really done alot of male portraits apart from those few. But now that you mention it, I probably should :>

The only male portraits I've ever done are of my husband, I'm pretty sure I've shown them here before, but I'll post them again anyway
