I took a job running the media team for the Western Canada Summer Games this year. Got to go out and take some photos of my utmost favorite event in the world, canoe/kayak

oh those are AWESOME!
you can see such detail. the water isnt..isntnnnntttt like fuzzy. it is clear and so are the ppl.
i know that doesnt make sense lol
you can see the bottoms of the shoes on the high jump too.
they picked a good guy to head up this event

Finally managed to get the fill flash right on the triathlete coming out of the water. One flash at +1 EV at 1/200th of a second F8. ISO 200. Took FOREVER to get that photo.

Those shoes are called Vibran Five Fingers. I own a pair and absolutely love them. Greatest bare-foot running trainer shoe ever.
