We'll go cut down our tree this Saturday. We wait till later so it doesn't dry out before Christmas. This is the first year that Aime will help pick out our tree. The tree farm near us has campfires with marshmallow toasting, hot cocoa and Santa Claus so she should enjoy herself. They will also pick you and your tree up if you want in the hay wagon and take you for a ride around their hilly farm or you can carry your tree yourself.

We usually put it up the weekend after Thanksgiving because we have time then. The rest of the year is usually so busy. This year we were out of town over Thanksgiving so we put ours up last weekend--mainly because we're busy all of the other weekends this month.

Normally we put the Advent Wreath up on the first day of Advent but year I couldn't find it so no nightly Advent Wreath lighting this year.

We will leave our tree/decorations up until Epiphany, January 6.

We just got the tree up and decorated last night. My Disney Princess Village is up, too (it's really my daughter's), but the other village isn't up because I need new "snow" to sit it on. Other than that, the decorating is almost done.

We'll put ours up later, probably just before leaving town to visit my folks. =/

Not much of a Christmas this year for us. We'll probably do a bit of a celebration closer to New Year's when we're back.

All my decorations are higher than a 1-year-old Next year the tree will return.


They have a big one at home and we'll be spending christmas there.


The girls spend 8 hrs a day here M-F. Maddy is 1. My place is not lacking anything, except the tree.


Tonight is the Christmas party they throw for the tenants. Big spread for adults and kids, horsedrawn carriage rides through the parking lots and Santa with pictures, games and prizes and stuff. They should have a blast.


Ok, I'm looking forward to the horse ride too.

The tree itself was up on Thanksgiving - but I didn't get around to decorating it until later that weekend.


I think we finally finished putting the stuff out earlier this week. (Been doing a little here and there.)
