We have rocket powered HotWheels!
Ok, that's just an edit obviously but with running them down a set of stairs they might as well be rocket powered. I'm sure that's how kiddo sees them.
Here is one of the launchers his uncles got him:
A car is in mid-loop 
(Yes I know, the house is a mess, that's how I was raised.)

It's clean but not tidy. That is actually better than my parents house which is both messy and dirty.
I'm not going to share a couple angles that really show how bad it is. In my defense it's a reasonably small house and kiddo has a lot of stuff, almost as much as his packrat father.

Hotwheels are a big favorite here with the granddaughters
I just let them dig into their uncle's action figure bin. Messy fun!

My wife's brothers went nuts getting him hotwheels stuff. We built a track that spanned three floors. Kiddo was so wiped after all the stair climbing bringing cars back up and helping with the setup. On the 2nd we had 7 adults and one child having a blast with it, including Granny.
They still have more of it for his birthday in Feb.

Oldest grandkid is 3 later this month, a couple days before my birthday, so I know her lifelong pain of being told "but you got so much at Christmas!"

My daughter makes my old 80's creativity look like mush. 
We are taking Nic to make her own bear. She really doesn't need any toys. Always clothes but the bear is a great idea. Probably let the squirt make one, too.
