I've recently started selling my jewelry (lol as I'm sure most of you know), and I've found a few online communities full of mommies and daddies running one business or another, apparently it's far more common than I had thought!

So, since this is my favorite community of course, I wondered if there are any here! If so, how do you divide your time? Do you have a studio in your home??

I get a little work now and then doing photo restoration, and I do tech support stuff if it is walking distance.

I work from home, parked my office in a corner of the living room to keep track of what is going on (otherwise they would never see me!). I work around the clock but know of several people working from home who divide their time on a normal schedule to avoid burning out. Something you need to look out for, hard to get away from work when it is in your own home. Unless you are a fanatic about your work make sure you set a time limit

My husband is currently working towards doing all of his music playing/gigging under his own company... Don't know how easy that will be with the little one still LOUD and running around the house all day though!

She gets extra loud when we're on the phone, I swear. No room for an office separate from play/computer areas unfortunately.

My parents are involved in business, but not home business. Actually, they've been into business for couple of years now. As the 2nd generation of the owners, we need to continue the legacy of our parents.
