I made stew for dinner. (All day in the crock pot, it turned out wonderful.) I asked kiddo, "How's your stew?"
His reply, "Stupendous!"
I figure that's pretty clever for four and a half.

My 4 year old's latest: 'Mommy, would you turn off the TV so it won't disturb my dinner?' The TV is in the living room and she watches its reflection in the picture hanging over the sofa. I told her not to look at the picture in the living room and she said, 'I'm sorry, Mommy. That's just too much temptation for a little kid like me!'

Didn't Barney used to say "Stupendous"?
I have one to add, the other day, no matter what I told/asked my son (he's 4) he kept asking me the old famous "WHY?". So after a while I turned to him and asked him why he keeps asking me why after everything I say, he looks at me and says, "well that's my job Mommy, that's what I'm supposed to do".
