If you like very "clean" rock n' roll, they're great.
Superb knowledge of theory and cliché/sometimes intense lyrics make for great, generic sounding rock n' roll.
The wonderful about them is that they're anything but generic. You'll hear TONS of modern bands in them. They subconsciously affected so many modern bands, but are rarely given credit for it.
Check them out.
Marquee Moon is a great album, and is my favorite by them. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000AI45P/sr=8-1/qid=1153200262/ref
