Anyone here into progressive metal? New Dream Theater DVD coming out soon from their 20th anniversary show, supposed to be amazing. Comes out tomorrow for those interested.

If I ever get around to burning End of An Era I might download it

I bought it. I collect a lot of DT stuff. Boot cds, boot dvd's... anything.


As far as Score goes.. I really dont care for the early stuff like the Majesty tune and the When day and dream unite tune. But the 6DOIT with the orchestra is one of the coolest DT performances Ive ever seen.

Six Degrees and Octavarium were both fantastic. I actually thought the old Majesty song they did was really tight, it was fun watching the bass player go all over the place. Maybe not one of their most musically mature pieces, but you can listen to it and just tell they were almost there. The second disk has a good number of extras that really stretch the $20 I paid for the DVD pretty far. I'm glad I bought it, and I recommend anybody else who likes DT to pick it up.

Train of Thought is a good album too
