pete and roger are out on the road again, and they have a NEW album coming out in december, with ALL NEW material. talk about a gift from the gods. i saw them in detroit a few weeks ago, and i might see them again in december when they come back thru my area. it's amazing how good roger daltrey's voice has held up over the years. he STILL has one of the most powerfull rock voices in the world.

however... I remember a few years ago, skynard toured without ONE member of the original skynard...lol

Now, now - let's be fair! There are actually TWO original members left in Lynyrd Skyryrd.  Guitarist Gary Rossington and keyboardist Billy Powell are both still touring. Additionally, Ricky Medlocke who also plays guitar with them now, did make some appearances on the original LS albums playing mellowtron (keyboard). I saw them a couple of years ago and they were very good in concert.

the current players in the WHO other than roger and pete are zak starkey(ring star's son) on drums, simon townsend on rythim guitar, pino palladino on bass, and john bundrick on keyboards.(from what i understand,he's been doing their piano and keyboard work for a long time) also, their new album is supposed to be out at the end of december.
