Looking for something again. Maybe a bit far out to say that everybody ever seen or been on that specific site, but I hope somebody bookmarked it. I had this bookmarked but some day firefox frak'ed up and killed my links :/


Today I'm looking for this:


I am looking for this certain flashsite that had LOTS of examples of music types and features along with short descriptions of this and that music and according to certain time frames when they appeared.


Simple as that, it was possible to click on, say, the EUROPOP or DISCO - you name it - bubble and find several examples of looping songs to listen to. As said above, it had descriptions that also explained where was the difference were between "House", "Techno" vs "Hardcore", "Chemical" and so on - along with funny comments.


Besides the annoying long intro of the site, it was a great place to listen to different music types, even ones I never heard before.


Tried google/yahoo, but ended up with lousy results - prolly because this is a flash site I'm looking for.


Hopefully, somebody can help me

Unlikely - or I'm hitting the wrong buttons, but it was a more slimmer site. Black background, simple click-this click-that flash website that actually led directly to the music stuff I described above.


last.fm is unlikely to be the right one because that flash site had nothing to with "socializing" but simply had a damn awesome pool of music examples to nearly all types of music.
