I'm so ready to do some planting. But it's always dangerous to plant most things here in Iowa before May 1. But I figure if I get the garden plowed tomorrow, this weekend is really close to being May 1.
The garden shops are having open houses this weekend.

The day I had planned on getting it plowed didn't work out. It rained instead.
So I finally got it done yesterday and I had hoped to do some planting today but once again, it's raining. Impatience, Impatience.

I've gotten it half planted now. A row of spinach, peas, purple beans, a tomato, 3 broccoli plants and a short row of Glads.
The rest of the garden will consist of sunflowers and zinnas.
