Went morel hunting for the first time a few days ago. Found 3 and they were amazing.

question: anyone try dried morels? I am curious how much awesome they bring when reconstituted.

Fwiw:

I dredged in a flour mix with a REALLY thin batter and cooked in margerine.

have never had dried ones

I always make a milk/milk bath, then dredge them in flour and deep fry them. Yummmmm!
