meh I really dont like Gordon Ramsay on American tv, he hams it up WAAAAYYY too much for my liking. I dont wanna hear a bleep every 2 seconds or every other breath when he's yelling at chefs. I've seen his other shows on like BBC that he did in Britain, and yeah he curses but he usually isnt mean spirited about it like he is with those contestants which leads me to believe that alot of it is an act for the show.

Sorry to be a debbie downer on your thread I still watch Top Chef though honestly since about season 4 they've had really pitiful contestants and winners for that matter. I really dont see it lasting but another season maybe two unless something major changes.

Never a Debbie Downer Non, We all have a right to our opinion on TV shows. I'll have to start DVRing Top Chef. Ramsey is wild. I think he's funny but I have a different sense of humor. Post anytime.

On the new show Master Chef, Ramsey is actually human. He encourages the contestants, gives them advice and doesn't yell at them like he does on Hell's Kitchen. I've really enjoyed that series, too bad it's over for the season.

I still watch Hell's Kitchen - it's like a train wreck, I can't help but watch.

I like Hell's Kitchen. It's like Boot Camp for chefs. Everyone knows that's not what Gordon Ramsay is like IRL. Just like drill sergeants aren't (usually) major jerks off post. The whole point of the show is to see who cracks under pressure. You'll note that he's always super cool when hanging out with the winning teams during their rewards, and as the show progresses and only the best chefs are remaining, he yells a lot less, if at all.
